2014

In March , 2014 Joanne took on an existing salon that had been established in 2006 which she had been a senior Therapist for a number of years.
She decided to follow her own passion and vision that beauty service industry can offer more organic, sustainable treatments that in some small way she strives to create an overall relaxing environment that allows all our clients an enjoyable experience while with us and little time out for the busy world we live in.
The salon has six treatments rooms that surround our reception. We are are conviently located at the Convent Hill Shopping Centre, Killaloe, Co.Clare

We are currently a team of highly experienced passionate therapists with a wide knowledge of our industry. Over the last four years we have been awarded Four  (5 star client experience awards). We offer all types of beauty, cosmetic , massage and skin treatments. Joanne is still very much part of the team and works as a therapist but also leading the team to make sure we are always able to offer our clients the best treatments and more importantly the best experience.
We will continue to source new ways that can help you enjoy wonderful treatments in a peaceful recharging way to bring about balance in mind , body and spirit. It is our mission to help you feel more energised and rejuvenated in a calm , natural and relaxed environment thus feeling beautiful within yourself.

Joanne has over 15years experience in the beauty and spa industry. BORÚ Health & Beauty was created in March 2014.

She has always been passionate about trying to create a space to be able to unwind from the busy world that surrounds us and find your own true beauty and peace within even just for a few moments. She committed and highly values sourcing beautiful organic or sustainable products and treatments for her clients to enjoy. She enjoys up skilling herself within the industry as much as possible, as her passion nor her learning within it never stops.

Annemarie joined the team in 2016 and has over 10 years experience .

She is definitely an all round beautiful therapist and a total asset to our team .
Since joining our team she has always been very keen to continue her training in any new treatments we offer here within the salon. Whatever treatment you have it Anne-Marie it will be professional with a unique personal touch

Anne-Marie generally works Monday’s , Wednesday to Saturday .
